Our story

The bagel journey began in a home kitchen 3 years ago in Tacoma, WA as a side gig. 2,776 miles and one pandemic later, we’re fortunate and happy to open the doors and offer our products to the Chantilly, VA area!

Barto’s Bagels was started by Anthony Bartolotti, a former chef of Mokomandy in Sterling, VA. Through the years of working and learning in various styles of kitchens, Anthony has decided to shift his focus to the wonderful world of bagel making.

The Goods

We work to provide you with a product that is reminiscent of those big, light, chewy, fluffy, and fresh carb holes tucked away in the bodegas and delis of the greatest city in the world.

Our bagel recipe is simple and traditional, but with some added modernity and personal flare that creates a uniquely delicious bread.
